Friends With Benefits

One of Limerick Media’s most successful events, the concept behind this show was to pair established local artists with emerging young bands to create interesting collaborations and promote community.

The concert was a benefit for the Diverse Emerging Music Organization (DEMO) and was held at The Varsity Theater in Minneapolis. We secured sponsorship support from 89.3 The Current and received several positive write-ups in the local media. The show sold out, raised over $1,000 for DEMO, and went on to become an annual event.

Multiple Personalities

Another popular concept developed by Limerick involved recruiting popular local bands to perform a full set ‘as’ one of their influences. They would perform in full costume, play only the tribute band’s songs, and essentially become their heroes for the evening.

The original Multiple Personalities show was a massive success, selling out the 7th Street Entry, and has been produced regularly ever since.

Written by actor/comedian Taylor NegronSatellites features music by Limerick artist Logan Heftel. This acclaimed musical comedy has toured the globe, delighting audiences from New York City to Scotland.

Limerick produced the show’s stop in Minneapolis, where it played twice at the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater. We were able to secure television promotion on KARE and WCCO as well as a feature interview on Minnesota Public Radio.

In addition to promoting the show, Limerick directed the logistics as well. We handled travel arrangments & transportation, ticketing, and publicity.

Ink’d & Amp’d

This body art & music festival first debuted at First Avenue in 2006, featuring booth displays from some of the Twin Cities best tattoo and piercing parlors along with a tattoo fashion show and performances by a variety of different bands on both the Main Stage and 7th Street Entry stage.

The event received very positive media coverage, sold hundreds of advance tickets, and was considered a great success.
